Our Essential Warm Weather Hiking Packing List

Going on a hike in a warm-weather environment is lovely! Not only is the warm usually sunny and warm, but you can pack less stuff.

And, if you’re lucky to have water around, you can go for a swim. Yay!

Our warm-weather hiking packing list is pretty similar to our mountain hiking packing list, with a few notable changes. There’s less emphasis on warm clothes for cold nights and we usually wear lighter clothes during the day.

Of course, we also usually pack a swimming suit and towel too!

Here’s exactly what we pack when hiking in warm weather, for places like the Jatbula Trail, the Congo Nile Trail and Duwili Ella.
